As we’ve been saying for awhile now the real estate prices are going down and it’s a great time to buy, especially in Palm Beach Gardens. As of right now, the median price for luxury single family homes is $270,000, which is down from $296,000 in from last year in February 2014 according to The Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches. The RAPB also stated that prices countywide have been lackluster since last summer.

Yet, the real estate sales continue to remain vibrant, with Palm Beach County posting a 34 percent surge in transactions in the last month. Luxury and single family homes are selling faster and cash sales have risen 26 percent since last year.

John Tuccillo, chief economist of the Florida Realtors, said in a statement that the Federal Reserve may raise interest rates mid-year, but "the growth in Florida's real estate market will most likely continue at the current or a slightly slower pace."
